Introduction to the Sales Training

If you are reading this, well, you are about to do further training with your manager or the directors and hopefully will have some idea of what the job is all about.

When you first start in sales, you have lots of enthusiasm and very little knowledge, this gets you sales.

Emotion? Enthusiasm? Greed? Excitement? Making money?

 

PEOPLE - that's what this sale is all about.

 

You can be the best sales/consultant in the world ,if you don't have anyone in front of you ,who you think you will sell to?

 

It's about people like you and me, not clients. Your clients are normal people with the aspiration, fear, concern, desires, dreams as you and I have. The moment they enter our function room they are clients and you are a sales person. This is a relationship you have to CHANGE. If you don't ,you will not sell to them. As long as you remain a sales person, people will think ' this man is a salesman, why is he saying what he is saying, because he wants our money, so he gets his commission'.

 

It's very similar to a doctor's bedside manner- the best doctor in the world are not necessarily the most technically advanced. They are often the one that have the best bedside manner, the ones that can relax people, listen to them.

 

So guys, please don't let your client to think this way, you want them to think, this Consultant is our friend, he is here to help us solve our problem, help us fulfill our desires.

Here is something you need to know,

 

Before you sell the product you have to learn to sell yourself .Selling yourself is hard work, because you have to be willing to give from your heart. Selling your self is exhausting work BUT we do it in our private lives, look how hard we work to develop a personal relationship. Look how many times we're rejected and bounce straight back. We try so many techniques, honesty, humor and commond ground. How come we don't do it in our job?

 

As we always say, Life and Work is same....but don't mix them.
